North Coast Marine Area 4 |
|
| The NCMA 4
Block is located in shallow water (100-300’) off the
northwest coast of Tobago. Sedimentation occurred in
the Miocene – Pliocene, depositing shelfal sands,
which are currently under production in the
Hibiscus, Chaconia and Poinsettia Fields, located to
the southwest of the block. Five wells were drilled
in this block including LL 9-1, which discovered the
Iris Field and KK6-1, which discovered the Orchid
Field. |
